Irma Klassen was on a mission to find locally raised crawling critters to feed her bearded dragon Gus and her hamster Theo.

Julie Wisniewski has been dealing with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), which has led her to have lots of time on her hands from being unable to work.

​

After many long conversations, Julie found a passion for crawling critters and wanted to help Irma feed her pets the best food they could find. After a local pet store closed the only option for healthy life feeders was to raise them themselves, and so began crawling critters. She started breeding bugs as a hobby and it got a little out of hand.

Along the way, Julie and Irma needed a lot of help as Julies FND progresses and Irma works full-time. Julie's daughter Alysha has become the proud owner of the business. She handles all the technical things as well as order packaging, invoice making and ordering.
